Specialising in vertical sliding sash and tilt/ turn window repairs, if a job is not worth fixing I will tell you, as I believe not to waste your time or money when you can put that towards a new window.

There are three main types of windows that our team at DGR Double Glazing Repairs work on:

Casement windows:

these all open out and have friction stays/hinges, allowing them to be top or side openers.

Reversible windows:

these windows do exactly as they are named, reverse for cleaning.

Tilt and turn windows:

these once again do as they are named, tilt and turn tilt for ventilation and turn for cleaning.

Sealed Unit Repairs

You will notice when a sealed double glazed unit is broken, as they can crack, chip or become badly scratched. If this happens, it is quite likely that you will have to replace the sealed unit only and not the window.

Blown, condensed, steamed up, cloudy, or failed double glazing units?

In this situation, we would recommend replacing the glass sealed unit as we believe this is the best and most efficient way to fix the problem. We will also give a five-year warranty with all new units fitted!
